Amid the “Crush India” campaign in 1971, Tara Singh disappears during a border skirmish and is thought to be held captive in Pakistan. Upon discovering this, Tara’s son Charanjeet “Jeete” Singh embarks on a mission to rescue him. However, Tara isn’t in Pakistan, leading to Jeete’s own capture and brutal treatment by Pakistani soldiers under Major General Hamid Iqbal. This revenge-seeking Major General holds a grudge against Tara for killing 40 of his men during Tara’s escape with his wife Sakeena and Jeete from Pakistan in 1947. After reuniting with Sakeena and learning the truth, Tara sets off to save Jeete from Hamid Iqbal and his forces.
